frequently asked question
How long does the process take?
Every case is different, but for a straightforward file, the process usually takes around 15 weeks.
However, it can take longer depending on the complexity of the investment. It all comes down to how many different parties we have to speak to (banks, fund managers, solicitors) and how much “detective work” is needed to get the full picture. We don’t cut corners; we make sure the job is done right, even if it takes a little extra time.
Do you charge for the initial investigation?
We’ll have an initial chat with you for free to see if we’re a good fit. If we think we can help, we’ll explain exactly how our fees work before any investigation begins. There are no hidden surprises.
What if my investment is "unregulated"?
That is exactly what we specialise in. Most traditional advisors won’t touch unregulated assets because they find them too “messy.” We know these markets inside out. Just because an investment is unregulated doesn’t mean you don’t have rights or options.
Will I have a dedicated person to speak to?
Yes. You won’t be passed around a call centre. You will have a direct point of contact at Finada who knows your file inside and out. We’ll keep you updated every step of the way so you’re never left wondering what’s happening.
What if you find out my case isn’t worth pursuing?
We’ll tell you the truth. If our investigation shows that there isn’t a clear path to a result, we will explain why. Our goal is to save you time and stress, not to lead you down a dead end.
I’ve been ignored by my bank/investment firm. Can you still help?
Absolutely. One of the main reasons people come to us is because they’ve hit a brick wall. When we get involved, we bring decades of City experience and “weight” to the conversation. It’s much harder for firms to ignore a professional consultancy than an individual.
